When am I charged?+-
Only when a payment succeeds. Failed, expired, or cancelled transactions cost nothing. Retries that eventually succeed are charged once, on the successful payment - not per attempt.
Are there any hidden fees?+-
No. The 5.5% transaction fee is all-inclusive. Provider collection fees, payout fees and platform costs are absorbed by Chia. You receive exactly 94.5% of every successful renewal.
How does smart routing work?+-
Chia is a merchant of record, so we choose the payment provider for each transaction. By default we try the cheapest provider that supports your subscriber's mobile money account, with automatic fallback if one fails. You can pin a plan to a specific provider in advanced settings.
When do I get paid?+-
Weekly, every Friday. Your available balance - net of fees - settles to your configured payout method: bank transfer or mobile money.
Are subscribers charged extra?+-
Never. Subscribers always pay the exact plan price you set. The fee is deducted from your side before the net lands in your balance.
